[I wrote this in a white heat the day of the Supreme Court Ruling tearing down Roe v. Wade. What follows is raw and uncensored.]

Today is dark day, a black day, a day to burn into our collective memory for all time.

This is the day,  that the Christian Fascist Movement—for that is what they are—in the United States struck it's second great blow against the Democracy. The ill-gotten majority of a now-despised institution has decided that fully half of our country are no longer allowed to decided what to do with their bodies. Their choice has been taken away from them, a piece of their civil liberties stripped from their control.

As I write, laws are snapping into place all across the country to ensure the bondage remains permanent, and it will not stop here.

The so-called Justices are on the march to overturn every great social steps we've taken in half a century, and by year's end, we may no longer live in civil country. By year's end, we won't live in the USA anymore; we will live in the TSA, the Totalitarian States of America.

By year's end, marriages will be nullified and licenses denied.

By year's end,  healthcare, social security, and other tax-payer funded programs will be struck down.

By year's end, the contents of libraries will be emptied and refilled with only "approved content."

By year's end, public services, like education and environmental protections, will be scraped and the funds given to Christian Institutions to spread their propaganda further.

"This is the way the world ends / Not with a bang but a whimper," said T.S. Eliot in "The Hallow Men."

That is, unless we do something about it.

For today might also be the day the flame of resistance ignites anew. If you don't want your lives dictated by the judgements of fools in black, if you don't want your children growing up in a narrow-minded, non-pluralist Fascist American, then get angry. Get really angry and use that rage to fight back. 

No more appeasements. No more compromises. No more attempts to reason with tigers who have destruction in their hearts. 

Wipe your tears, get off your asses, and FIGHT BACK!

As long as we're alive, there's still hope. We just have to be willing to fight for what we believe.
